Book: The Academy of the Dead by Vermilion H. Baine

The Academy of the Dead was a great read! Dark magic, necromancy, former academic rivals, and intense romantic confessions make this standalone gothic paranormal romance an intriguing story.
I immersive read the ebook with the audiobook, and the dual narration made the experience even better. Sara Brodt and Walker Williams both earn five headphones! Sara’s ability to make her characters sound like completely different people is amazing. Walker’s tone was fabulous, including when he voiced female characters. A wonderful listening experience to accompany a great book!
