The Patient in the Tower is a great paranormal, gothic read set in a small village in England right after WWI ended. I loved the intellectual aspect with the references to some of the great poets. With the exception of Dr. Abbott and Mason, the characters were likable, and I was really rooting for them. The ending was exactly how it should have ended, or at least in my very humble opinion.
