Okay, so I saw this one had dragon races, so of course requesting it was pretty much a no brainer. I mean, come on... Who doesn't love the idea of dragon races!! So of course, I was super excited to start this one and get into the action. I appreciated that it felt a little different from a lot of the romantasy stuff out there. But being completely honest, I just never really clicked with the characters. I don't think there was really anything wrong with the story, I just found myself struggling to get into it. There’s still a lot of good stuff here, so I can definitely see this one getting a lot of hype, and I’d still be willing to give book two a shot. Overall, it's a good book I think a lot of people will enjoy it, but this time I wasn't fully feeling it.
