This story is a typical fake dating new adult tale. Sienna and Theo are pretty realistic characters, they have some good chemistry and great banter. I had trouble really connecting with them- not because they are written poorly- I just couldn't really relate with the specific things they struggled with.
I liked the story of Theo's family. The brothers that banded together after losing their parents unexpectedly while they were young. And the setting of their lake house sounds gorgeous and steeped in their family history. The brother's competitive streak is a lot of fun too.
While there were plenty of laughs, there seemed to be just as many cliche moments. The ending was very fitting- and set up the next book, which looks like it might be a good one.
All in all, its worth a read, but it's nothing groundbreaking.
