When her ex husband offered up a cabin in the mountains to Eden and her son for the year, the last thing she expected to find in the yard was a stark naked man in the hot tub who claims he lives there. But while he's a stranger to Eden, "hot naked guy" aka Callum is not a stranger to the property or her ex-husband Justin. Callum and Justin? Their parents were married for six years in their teens making them ex-stepbrothers who haven't spoken since.
Coined the town grump, Callum has spent the last two years refurbishing the cabin that he is technically squatting in that was left worse for wear. But since Eden and Oliver are going to be here for the next year (legally), he has to figure out his next move and will stay in the tiny cabin he formerly used as his office while they live in his home.
I am so glad that I gave Goode Tidings a chance. The grumpy sunshine dynamic between Eden and Callum was chefs kiss and just a feel good story. Callum showing up for Oliver when his dad constantly drops the ball was just heartwarming, especially for the former grump, and Eden really pulled him out of his shell.
I listened to this one on audio and thought both of the narrators did a great job, especially when voicing Eden's rowdy bunch of friends. All things considered, this was a win in my book and I'm really hoping we get one more for our last single girl in the group.
