A Deal Once Made

Book: A Deal Once Made by C.A. Blooming

A Deal Once Made by C.A. Blooming is book two in the Blood Bound Duet. This is a dark fantasy with folklore and horror elements. I really enjoyed this book and found it to be a great sequel to A Bond in Blood. It is pretty dark and I would advise reader discretion. This duet in my opinion is giving major Under the Mountain vibes from ACOTAR (I say this to help give a little perspective on content and themes). I loved how Brenna really comes into her own in this book, grappling with her new power and responsibilities as well as her complicated feelings of both love and hate towards Ulrich and Olen.
