Piano of Shadows is the 14th installment of the Quillhaven Magical Cozy Mystery series. One of the things I love about cozy mysteries is that animals are typically part of the cast of characters…although not always talking ones. This one has 2 Siamese cats, Leo and Luna, and they talk! Not like my cat with his “hello” and “mama” along with his unintelligible yelling that he does when he wants food. No, these 2 talk like humans and are able to sense things, obviously. They, along with the town of Quillhaven and its inhabitants, make up a cute story that contains a lot of mystery and magic and a little romance, creating a fun read that is entertaining and sweet. 5 out 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
