When the story starts off with a public crash out over loud music and guy in pineapple trunks - I was a giggling fool.
Once the story picks up and we're on the boat with a bunch of bookish fans and seven eccentric authors? I was locked in as the mystery begins with an ominous note and then the murder of one of the authors and all hell breaks loose as our FMC, Pip, tries to navigate keeping her cool, keeping the other authors in line and alive, and keeping the cruise from falling apart.
Oh, and did I mention she might, possibly, maybe have feelings for one of the authors who might, also, possibly, be a suspect for the murder?
Yeah, it's a lot.
Intrigue, laughs galore, twists and turns that will keep you guessing, and voice acting that will knock your socks off. This audiobook was an absolute delight.
