Wow, just wow. Scattered Light is one of those books that when you reach the end and close the back cover, you stop and sit in your thoughts and feelings for a few moments, or even longer. I had to process what I had read and all the emotions I felt throughout the book. There were parts that were absolutely heart-wrenching and had me in tears, parts that made me smile or laugh, and other parts that made me hopeful for Mary and Damba’s future. It was an inspiring story and beautifully written by Ms. Engber. I rate it 5 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Highly, highly recommend!
