The Love Ship by @annabelle.anders
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5)

The Love Bus was one of my top five books of 2025, so I went into The Love Ship with huge expectations. Somehow, Annabelle Anders managed to knock it out of the park again, delivering a second-chance, marriage-in-trouble romance full of heart, tenderness, and just the right amount of heat.

My heart absolutely broke for Ashley. She’s spent a year feeling like she’s slowly losing her person while putting on a smile for everyone else. She’s the kind of woman who does it all—runs her own business (my dream job, by the way), keeps her twin sons organized, packs Pinterest-worthy lunches, and helps plan her younger sister’s wedding—without ever complaining. It was painful watching Ashley pretend everything was fine with Beckett for the sake of Luna and Noah’s wedding while we, the readers, were privy to the tidal wave of emotions she was holding back.

I immediately took a liking to Beckett. He’s clearly a man under intense pressure who’s trying—albeit clumsily—to do the right thing. Do I agree with the way he handled things? Absolutely not. But it felt authentic to who he is: a protector who wants to shield his family from his mistakes. His love for Ashley poured off the page, even when he was messing up. I never doubted he would win her back—it was just a matter of how.

And their reconciliation felt truly earned. Both of them had to take a hard look at themselves and their relationship in ways they hadn’t before. It wasn’t easy, but it ultimately brought them closer together than they’d ever been. By the end of the book, I had tears streaming down my face—so happy they found their way back to each other and came out stronger for it.

It was also such a treat to see familiar faces from The Love Bus . One of my favorite parts of the book was seeing Noah and Luna live their happily ever after. I melted every time they appeared on the page together, and Noah’s rehearsal dinner speech even had me tearing up (happy tears!).
I am utterly obsessed with the Love universe Annabelle Anders has created. It has quickly become one of my favorite series of all time—and I cannot wait for The Love Town .
