Really loved the world building and most of the characters. There’s a little bit of a chosen one situation budding that I don’t love, and one character arc that gives me pause, but overall I really enjoyed the book.
There are definitely some sad moments, difficult parts, and death, but the overall feeling is hopeful. although quite long, the story moved pretty fast and I liked how the pov alternated.
