Rating: 3/5

Rider of Dragons by Aamna Qureshi delivers an imaginative fantasy adventure filled with dragons, magic, and high-stakes challenges. The novel offers a compelling premise and a richly imagined world that will appeal to readers who enjoy stories of courage, destiny, and powerful bonds between humans and mythical creatures.

One of the book's strengths is its world-building. The dragon lore is intriguing, and the setting feels vibrant and full of possibility. The author introduces a cast of characters with distinct motivations, and the central journey provides plenty of action and adventure to keep readers engaged.

However, while the story has many promising elements, it doesn't always reach its full potential. Some sections feel rushed, while others linger longer than necessary, creating an uneven pace. A few character arcs could have benefited from deeper development, making it harder to fully connect with certain emotional moments.

That said, the book remains an enjoyable read thanks to its sense of adventure and imaginative concepts. Readers who love dragon-centered fantasy will likely appreciate the creativity and the exciting plot, even if some aspects of the story feel underdeveloped.
