The Cutt, was a very real prison, formally named, “The Maryland House of Correction”, but widely known as the Cutt. The Prison was so dangerous that eventually Governor Martin O’Malley, closed the prison in March 2007.The Cutt was one of three large maximum/medium prisons in the State of Maryland.
