OBEDIENCE IS OF REAL IMPORTANCE TO GOD, and He attaches a lot of benefits to it. For example, we read in Job 36:11 (MEV), that, “If they obey and serve Him, they will spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasure.” I do not know of a better reference in the Bible than this verse. This is the kind of quotation I will love to make into a bumper sticker and have it plastered on the back of my car or stick it on my refrigerator!
